Foodpanda love!!

I have always wanted to know how to be a sushi chef and finding how to make nice sushi. Then I was given a chance to try out to do sushi and the cutest part of all is that we are able to do panda sushi (it was so cute when I look for the past event photos on how they make the panda sushi). Thanks to Foodpanda and Maki-san for organising such a fun event for us to know more about the both companies and the chance for me to have a hand on experience in doing handmade sushi.

So when I was there, the ingredients for making those cute panda sushi will all ready on the table!!

Me getting ready to have fun making panda sushi! I was told later that the panda sushi was not for eaten as the eyes, nose and mouth were make of salmon with soy sauce which will be salty and not suitable for eating.

After everyone came, sushi chef went on to teach us the procedure of making the panda sushi. Then it was our turn to do those cute panda sushi.

So this is what my artwork of the panda sushi. Cute right? >.<

With Szemin posing with our panda sushi!!

The cute panda mascot was good in posing too right!!

So after that we were all given a chance to invade their sushi kitchen to handmade our own maki-san sushi!

So we were all given a chance to choose our own box. I have choose the prettier box compare to other boxes! Pretty right? >.<

So this is what is inside my sushi box, my handmade sushi that include tamagoyaki (eggs), ebiko (prawn roe), unagi (my favourite of all), smoked salmon, soft prawn, tempura soft shell crab, bonito (fish flakes) and topped with Japanese Mayonnaise. So this is our lunch on the day!! Have a enjoyable day making all the sushi and really thanks for szemin for coming as everything were more enjoyable with her!! I will definitely have sushi feast next time in maki-san!!

Maki-san have their third outlet just last month at 112 katong, it is a good and peaceful place to have lunch and dinner so why not try that outlet? There are also 2 other outlets located at The Cathay and The Arcade. Fret not if you feel lazy, you can order Maki-san through Foodpanda website or Foodpanda mobile app.

I know I am very late in posting anything because I have been so busy since the day I started Uni. Many people said that I should enjoy uni life and have CCAs in your free time. However, I do not feel that I even have the free time doing any CCAs. I really wanna do a CCAs because I can get to relax but I don't know what type of CCAs I should for that I will not have to spend that much time on it. Everyday in uni is chiong day, you chiong for next class, chiong for test and exams. You just feel that you can't stop because I know if I do stop, I know I cannot even have passing grade for my modules. I do not have much social life in uni. Uni is just studying and studying.. I have another 3 more years to go and this suck. However, I do hope all the modules would go by smoothly and hoping the teacher would be good in teaching (pray that the teaching methods I could understand that I would pass that modules at least).

Anyway throwback to my food life last year feb (time do pass by so fast) I went for a Watami openrice session, I miss the food there because it is simply so nice and I get to call someone too with me... Group photos. More details about tasting session -

On the same month itself, I also went for a cupcake openrice TenEleven Cupcake openrice session. I remember it was a rather short food tasting as it is just cupcakes and we will also allow to bring back home 4 mini cupcakes. Group photos was quite ugly as I didn't open my eye (so bad).
